A Day feature introduces you to the Reindeer, those creatures that pull Santa’s/
st Nick’s/ father Christmas’s etc sleigh.
Location: Cold Climate
Diet: Hebivore
Lifespan: 12 – 15 years in the wild
Interesting fact: Depending on the season, the reindeers hooves will adapt to change with the terrain. During the summer periods their footpads become sponge-like but in the windter they shrink and tighten to prevent the reindeer from slipping on Ice.
